Canadian restrictions on portable lasers (Official info release from Laserglow)

Hello LPF! I've seen a bunch of posts in the last little while relating to new Canadian regulations regarding portable lasers. Before any more speculation takes place, I would like to provide you with the correct information, which I have obtained by meeting with representatives from Health...

    Laserglow and CNI relationship?

The Hercules is an exclusive Laserglow product. There are several models of CNI lasers that Laserglow does not carry, usually because they did not meet our standards for performance or QC. The PGL-III-C, specifically, does not have sufficient duty cycle or power stability to meet our...

    www.lasershop.su is a scam!

Tech_Junkie: Who did you report them to? This website was down for a while but now they are back up. Also, we just received a call from somebody who sent $500 to these clowns and didn't receive any laser. This poor soul was wondering if there was anything we can do for them. The answer is no...

Laserglow Hercules 550 achieved ;) - But BIG PROBLEMS with Beam Expander 10x !!

Any high-powered DPSS green laser will have some instability for the first few seconds of operation. Even a lab laser will have some instability when you first turn it on. It will be somewhat dependent on the ambient temperature and battery condition, but this is perfectly normal behavior.

Laserglow Hercules 550 achieved ;) - But BIG PROBLEMS with Beam Expander 10x !!

I think you may be doing something wrong with either the installation or the focus adjustment. I've tested the X10DR myself, quite a bit, and it works great. The focus adjustment ring has a locking screw on it, have you made sure this is loose and not blocking the movement of the focus ring...

    www.lasershop.su is a scam!

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... It has come to our attention that a website called LASERSHOP has been using Laserglow's name, product images, logo, and even contact information. They are advertising lasers that do not exist for impossible prices ($280 for a...

    HUGE CNI Frustrations...

Thought I'd put in my $0.02. You will notice that Laserglow does not carry all wavelength/form factor combinatons offered by CNI. This is because we only list a product once it has been fully tested and evaluated to meet our requirements for performance and consistent availability. CNI will...

World's most powerful laser to tear apart the vacuum of space

RE: Economy They DID spend $1.5B on the economy. They spent it on a giant laser. Where do you think that money is going? It's used to pay contractors to build the facility, other companies to produce the raw materials (concrete, steel, etc.), scientists and engineers to design the laser...

1000mw 1W Green Laser Pointer Flashlight Is True!

If I was going to lie, I would probably have agreed with the >1W statement, not refuted it. Anyways, that's not how Laserglow does business. Jeffery, thanks for backing me up. It's unfortunate that "pop-up" laser companies have so often been dishonest that anybody making claims about their...

    Australia Laser Imports

You guys seem to be focused on getting your laser through Customs, but from my reading of the Australian regulations it seems to me that the bigger worry would be a criminal record. Attempting to import the laser can get it seized, but if you are caught with an illegal handheld laser inside AUS...
