I have this host and i was planning to build a 532nm and i forgot to add the lens on the diode so it can focus on the crystal and pressed it ,So i build a 850nm ( Not 808nm ) 1W+ and the divergence is very bad so i have no clue what to build in this host i bin sitting for 1hr+ and trying to...

I did i got it at home depot i attached it to mine machine and it drilled thew the module first time hehe i was experimenting on 5 modules it always causes more damage i think if its not done the first time correct its over it always makes new threads damaging the older threads

Once i forced and turned it and it got stuck i was unable to remove it same problem i was having when i build the laser the lens was not going in all the way i also forced it and the lens got stuck lost a good lens 🫥

This is a module and the backend can not be screwed in all the way so i like to sell it or throw it away see image price is $25 I will include a brand new A4 diode pressed in brand new G2 lens spring and all the goodies 👽

I can’t i have to get a new LPM i set the driver at 3A i believe it’s around <5W once mine new LPM arrives i will check

I tested using the G2 the problem i was having is i can not screw it in all the way to get a perfect line in far distance so i used a G8 Lens in the video and after that i fixed the problem, I don't sell G2 lenses :cool:

Years ago many other members try something similar only the used different method since the are more experienced in this field.I also was curious and used similar heatsink like yours and added a cheep Tec and tiny fans i believe the are 5X5 and the problem was one side will heat the heatsink and...

440nm G2 Lens! I compared it to the other 425nm and this 440nm is pure bright violet makes the 425nm look like 405nm and if you compare a 405nm & 425nm & 440nm the 405nm is almost not visible :alien:

I always purchase extra diodes & lenses drivers and so on because many businesses can close or the stop production or a member moves from the hobby and at the end the is none available i seen it happen, Anyway the module was having problems i check other and i found 4 more same problem i was...

The are 650nm 640nm 5mW the have tec cooling i used to have a lot I also have a lab crystal i have to find it produces 473nm

I heatsink the driver to the copper heatsink using arctic silver thermal adhesive once it’s cured in one day i will heatsink it to the host i post a video soon once everything is done 👽
