Why not just add a pile of solder on the top? Soldering the neg- bottom / case is not wise but if you're fast, the tops can handle a quick soldering when quickly quenched on a damp sponge.

Interesting diode. Hows the longevity on these custom units? Im curious, any idea which diode offers the most power and lowest divergence outside of the a and m 5.6mm series and the custom FAC's? So many diodes out there but the beam specs appear to be dreadful on the highest power diodes.

For batteries these days I find online prices are typically higher than local vape shops. Not to mention you save on shipping. If you have any vape places near by, check out their website and see what they offer, maybe even take a trip and size it up in person.🍺

Anybody know where to get that uv cure white glue used to secure the optics in that pic? I tried a R+G / Y build but the dichros would move as the epoxy cured. I always see this white glue but cannot find any.
