Dun worry about it, you could probably sell away the 2.8 watt and buy the 6 watt. The 2.8 watt is equally rare as well, unless someone decide to mass produce your unit....

If a Ti-B cannot survive, might as well forget about other lasers... Besides, Ti-B comes with other wavelength, if DPSS is not suitable, then choose other wavelength for your Ti-B.

According to Jetlasers, the previous model Ti-lite A 100/532 can already survive a 8 storey fall from height. Someone also did a review with his Ti-lite A by rolling it down his house stair without damaging it. Though it is not as harsh as compared to a clift, but which laser can survive an 8...

Jetlasers Ti-B series is the most rugged/water-proof green laser up to date, I think, pls correct me if I'm wrong.

Have you tried burning cockroaches with these? p.s. Just went to youtube to search for any burning videos for The Torch. Don't think it is any more powerful than a 2W laser. It takes longer for the Torch to light up a match compared to a 2W blue... I think you can forget about using the Torch...

cool, i might try that out, but I'm afraid it might not have the strength to kill one. The most powerful red I seen around were mostly 400mw or so. Even a 1 W blue has problems dropping it before they scurry into safety. You need something hotter than the 1W blue in order to do any real damage...
