Your Arctic will probably be alright. I noticed that many the E3 405nm series came out defective. They were the first of the E3 to ship during the clusterf*@% of orders and I believe they were rushed through testing, compromising their quality. Damn.

Definitely. If anything, regulations would make it easier to keep this hobby legal for those of us who have respect for high powered lasers. I wouldn't mind having to answer a series of questions in order to purchase anything but a '5mW' pointer.

Its scary to think how many people that had no clue about lasers went out and bought an Arctic... I wont even let my smart friends touch my 1.2W.

Fortunately, I ordered though thinklasers.com and they do answer my emails so it may be simpler than dealing with WL directly. Thank you man!
