    OSRAM PLPM4L 656

Great question. Don't have link anymore since I purchased them. Some shady guy on eBay. Made me sign a waiver saying I wouldn't resell and it was illegal to sell outside of us as well as giving me all 22 of them for 300

    OSRAM PLPM4L 656

On eBay I recently purchased 22 of these chips for 300$. Does anyone know anything about them? They're all brand new and seem to be 20 diode chips. Was it worth it? Thanks John

    Nichia NUBM34T 115W 455nm GB.....Who wants to " Do the DEW " ???

I'm in if you can get a lower price than buying one off ebay :) Been wanting one of these guys.

New user here - I want to dip into lasers, but I've legitimately scared myself.

If you ever get in legal trouble though you have that sticker.

He's talking about an ebay pen laser pointer. I don't believe this level of safety needs to be exercised on something not even strong enough to feel or burn a little. As long as you excercise caution and common sense he should be ok. Read the laws and look at the sticker on your laser. That'll...

Lasers are dangerous, and will cause permanent eye damage very very quickly. Some of the things I've done would be highly frowned upon by lpf. But for cheapo pen style pointers, they shouldn't be terrible powerful. Problem is your brain blocks out eye damage until it gets really bad so you have...

Devices that use high power lasers.

A shit ton of speaker wire.. I couldn't figure out what was on it so I unsoldered and put my own wires on. I don't use the knife edger and I've gotten pretty clean beams from the lenses on it. I learned the hard way after drilling out the screws and laser lenses going everywhere. I'm still...

Devices that use high power lasers.

What other dlp hybrid projectors specifically? I don't know which I got out of the M250, but Ill show you all~ I want to try to harvest some more, but don't know what projects in specific. Thanks all

Devices that use high power lasers.

Hey, I was wondering, what consumer devices can we harvest lasers from? I recently pulled 24 2w diodes from a casio M250 projector and am working on a project with them, but I'm wondering, what else uses these diodes? There's gotta be some devices that use NUBM44'S and other high power lasers...

    FAP1200-M-80W-800.0

I'm getting there, the two laser modules work as I got red light out the cable on 2 amps, it's not that I don't want to spend it it's that I don't have it to spend yet

I don't have the money to put into a nice driver at the moment, much less an oscilloscope, how would a pile of linear voltage regulators work? With capacitors to smooth it

    FAP1200-M-80W-800.0

I might try to solder my own together if I can find a schematic

    FAP1200-M-80W-800.0

I got 2 80w FAPS for 120 bucks. They use a sma905 system. I want to try to get a replacement cable or maybe just a collimating lense. What do you all recommend for not breaking the bank

I need to get 60 amps through this to be finally cooking with fire. Any ideas to get that? What kinda circuit do I gotta build

    FAP1200-M-80W-800.0

Today I fired both FAP 80W units and got light at a little less than 2 amps from the broken cable.

    Chinese Laser Taking 5 Amp?

Bare diode, but this time it's in a heatsink, with a fan! I'll keep a 4A max on it for future tests, but it's definitely lacking the power I feel it should have.

    Chinese Laser Taking 5 Amp?

I recently acquired a failed laser from a supposed 20W engraver, I took my bench and used it to directly power the diode and it worked, pulled amperage from very low voltage and had a bit of current draw fluctuation, but it worked. Nowhere near as powerful as my 1.5w purple, but it burnt wood a...

    FAP1200-M-80W-800.0

I suppose I'll have to get more amps somehow then..

    FAP1200-M-80W-800.0

Well let's hope both of these modules work at their rated 80W. I've got some fun plans if they do, if they're both dead I'll get a return. Do you think 5a could get anything out of one? That's as high as my variable supply hits, I'll keep you all posted

    FAP1200-M-80W-800.0

It's eBay so if they don't work I suppose I could get the return. What would you say about a 50w FAP800? They have no cable and instead a little chain thing.
