Do I only need to remove those (what I assume are screws) that are located in the first groove under the shutter?

How easy would that be to fix as I do not want to accidentally damage such an expensive laser that I just received?

Damn... not a critical issue but I just noticed my safety shutter is broken. It will twist to an open aperture when you twist it to on or off, you have to twist it to the middle for it to partially cover it up, but even then when you tilt the laser it will swing back open.

No updates like that yet for mine, at this rate looks like I will have to wait until Monday the 8th to go to the post office to pick it up since I will be out of town starting Tuesday afternoon. Oh well, something to look forward to after my few days off are done. :D
