This is pretty cool, I don't know why some people feel the need to bash someone else just because they weren't interested in the content :undecided: I'm curious how strong the highlighter dye is though, how much do you have to mix into the water to get the effect in your video?

With that kind of distance you might want to look at some sort of geared system? I'm not sure if galvos can achieve that kind of accuracy.

It works best on small applications in my opinion, because you can afford to use a much more concentrated glow mixture without worrying about cost. For something like that I would recommend mixing additional glow powder into glow paint in a 1:1 ratio to make a paste and apply with something like...

You might have some success trying to peal it instead of cleaning it off, there should be doctors offices open tomorrow or even tonight if the irritation is serious/more than just an annoyance.

Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) or warm soapy water should remove it, however acrylic paints are fairly durable when they dry so it may take a bit of effort.

The paints and pigments are all not toxic, if he's having in allergic reaction it might be a reaction to the acrylic base. You should definitely make sure to wash it extra well to get any traces off and consult with a doctor right away if it gets any worse or doesn't improve. I personally...

I think this is really the way people should treat all lasers, but I understand what you're saying too. They should at least be labeled as being within a certain range so you know if it really is dangerous or not.

Only as dangerous as the person wielding it, that's why it's important to spread safety awareness ;)
