Yes, the GGW is taken primarily for the 6X, but there is also a very usable Long Closed Can Diode in the sled as well.

Tony, you can use it "as is" if you are going to wire the battery to the casing and -ve terminal. A host is definitely the best way to go in my opinion. As for heat sinking, mine dosn't get too hot but I have them for ease of use... nice looking ones from likeitbright & jayrob.

It's just a green laser with a defraction grating mounted on the front. DX has the same as well as other sites. Nice affect though
