Well welcome from south Australia, if it was an eBay pen it's very likely it's a lot more than 1mW hence it's look and power to you ,probably at least 10 to 20 times that power .

Hi and welcome to the forum from down under.Good to see you put in a welcome post, so i assume you read the stickies in the rules about how we do things around here.At same time you probably picked up the basics of laser safety and lasers themselves ( if you haven't well please go and read them)...

They are very unlikely to do that .A company can't be expected to cover customs taking it .I've lost lasers to customs more than once big $ ,that's why I didn't go for the GB, I ending up paying twice the cost but at least I got it .Putting broken torch or torch etc on the shipping slip or 5mW...

Nice review thanks and a 460 nm one i haven't got .Although from the pictures it looks the same as my 450nms, but every ones eyes are that bit different. I don't remember Tmack having that in his collection .Looks great in its box .+1 for first review.

GB are a terrific idea and save a lot on the price. The down side is you want to make sure your not in any hurry to get it ,you will Need a lot of patience.You have to weigh up the saved money, verses the long process that usually one person takes on at a considerable effort with to from emails...

Moral of the story if you get a few from one seller that are way overspec ,get a heap of them .Ask the seller to send from same batch they usually order at least a hundred at a time.Then you don't even need to bother with pot modding as your eBay pen is way overspec anyway. This is what I did...
