    Wow that's really informative as I said I'm pretty new to this, but I looked up that M140 just a second ago, any places with quick shipping you know of that sell that? Im not seeing any. thanks, I only planned on tearing this one up because I spent about 90 USD on it and I just wanted the diode.

    My bad, I must have double posted by accident. And I want to remove it to use it in a project of mine that involves a 1W laser I am very new to working with these but am taking proper safety precautions. I'd be glad to enlighten you on what it entails if you'd like I might post a video on it.
