I have been using HE-Laserscan and it took the same tweeking to my SC DAC that spaghetti took to get it to work. And its years ahead of spaghetti. It does everything spaghetti does but more. This is my primary laser software till my QS comes. It takes a little while to learn the interface but...

Sounds like a great idea but the goal is to sell software, he is banking on the noobs shelling out money just so they can see if their newly built projectors will work, this is ALL about PROFIT.

Just put a big ol' sign up that says, PRO SOFTWARE NOT FOR NOOBS right on your website because obviously your on another level and too good for the hobby.

Do you buy a car without test driving it? With a demo that doesnt let you lase its like being shown the car but given no keys to start it. You're right though, hardly anything is free any more. It didn't used to be that way.

the pro version is available for 175 euros. the free version is available to hobbiest for free for the goodness of lasers. you are encouraged to pay back by creating unique and stunning laser shows.

Im sorry but what I meant was, spaghetti does not have a function to allow you to create animaton's or frames, just a couple of "editing" tools. HE-Laserscan software does allow you to create frames and animations, not to mention it has a user manual, detects sound card dac no problem, allow...

Glad I never had any of these fog machine problems, seems like it would be difficult to identify... and weird.

I have been playing with HE-Laserscan software for the past couple days and it appears to be a very well designed and full featured laser program for both timeline and live shows. Unlike spaghetti it contains its own show editor and frame creator. Why haven't more people used this alternative...

Now the DT-40 wides ARE impressive!! 90º scan angle is nuts. Steep price and even then iv read that the PSUs supplied with the DT-40w is not sufficient.

I dont own that projector but hear its great for the price. It will do what you want. Any laser with an ILDA interface(which the reke has) should be able to display custom frames with a DAC and some software. It has 10k scanners which is VERY slow but im sure you can work that out with some...

I own the PT-30ks for about 1 month and they seem to work great. Much better quality then my no name 15ks. PT is one of those companies people dont have terrible things to say about and they dont have great things to say about them. Just about everyone iv talked to is happy with the pt-30ks...
