Finished my RRGB laser projector - PHOTOS!

Thanks for the +Rep Wildlands! Flaminpyro, how much did you pay for QuickShow? I assume that is the one made by Pangolin, does that come with a USB controller as well? Please post a link so I can see what you purchased, how much did you pay for it? Thanks in advance...

Finished my RRGB laser projector - PHOTOS!

This projector is based on the "SoundCard DAC" tutorial and I am running Spaghetti through a modified USB sound card connected to a DAC that I soldered together from scratch. See the post I added to the tutorial for my parts list. I finally went ahead and installed a second red diode with PBS...

Looking for 500-1000 mWatt RED lab laser

I went ahead and installed a second red diode and PBS cube in my projector, I have them wired in parallel at 800mA for about 1/2 watt of light output.

Looking for 500-1000 mWatt RED lab laser

Thanks anselm, I sent him a message. Anyone know if this one is even near 1W? 1W/1000mW Red laser module/TTL and Analog modulation [OL-R-1W] - $369.99 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products In my opinion, most (cheap) laser sites overstate the power output of their lasers...

    350mw 635nm module

Hello, do you think the perceived light output would be much greater than my two 250mw 650nm LOC red diodes combined using a PBS cube? Approximately how much (in USD) for the item plus standard shipping to Florida USA. You can private message me if you want, thanks in advance...

Looking for 500-1000 mWatt RED lab laser

Hello, I have a RGB projector I custom built using the "Sound Card DAC" tutorial from this forum. It works great but my 250mW red laser cannot keep up with the 300mW green and 1000mW blue. I have a PBS cube to combine the output from another 250mW red laser but I have a feeling that this will...

    Sound card DAC tutorial

Another video of home-made laser projector: YouTube - Testing portable laser show with 12V inverter I have it hooked up to a 12 volt vehicle inverter to test for when I do an outdoor show in Key West, Florida at the end of this month. It can easily project to 200' x 200' image from 1000 feet...

200mW of green for $125 shipped!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that before or after you pot modded it? The brightness of mine went up considerably after I turned up the potentiometer. I turned mine all the way up until the output started to dim and then backed off a bit. It is now installed in my RGB laser projector and has been run for several hours...

    RGB Scanner Proposal

Yes, once the projector is "locked down" on a flat surface it is perfectly safe to watch the lasershow without glasses. If you stop the show and just stare at the full power beam sitting on the wall, it is a bit like staring at the sun (not recommended). By the way, you would see very little of...

Looking for ILDA frames on CDROM

Hello, I just did my first public show with my new home-made RGB laser projector using Spaghetti software. We had a DJ and I simply played a few laser shows in the background of his music. After that, I mainly found myself just flipping through my library of ILDA frames while he played his own...

    RGB Scanner Proposal

Yeah, my little 150 mW trilights mini lab is just awesome in my laser projector. I followed the directions about pot modding it to produce +200 mW of green (along with about 100 mW IR for a total of 300 mW output). I purchased the analog version so I had to set it to TTL mode (on/off only) in my...

    RGB Scanner Proposal

You will only be able to run 'EzAudDAC" compatible software with the Sound Card DAC and I personally use Spaghetti for my shows. I have a license for both my home computer ($120) and an extra license for my laptop ($50) for when I go on the road. I used the following green laser...

200mW of green for $125 shipped!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I have since added a red to the projector: YouTube - 2 Watt RGB Laser Projector I still have one more LOC red (for a total of 2 at 500mW combined) but I am waiting on the PBS optics to be delivered. Compared to the red/blue lasers using the FlewModP3 drivers, the 150mW analog modulated...

    Sound card DAC tutorial

The mini green "lab" laser I have in my RGB rig is TEC cooled. I used thermal paste in between the modwerx.com heatsinks and the 3/8" aluminum baseplate for my red and blue diodes. The baseplate is one gigantic heatsink, very cool to the touch even after running for over an hour!
