    Laserglow new custom message host

I never cease to be impressed on how quickly you guys here get word on our new stuff. We only launched this service yesterday! But yeah, now you can order ANY laser pointer with a custom laser engraving on it. Lasers engraving lasers, isn't it a beautiful thing?

    CO2 laser tubing

I would assume that the different sized nozzles are for water flow direction. The water should flow in through the large one and out of the smaller one. This way there is a bit of water pressure inside the tube which prevents air pockets and allows for more even temperature. That's just my best...

    laser physics argon

Very nice unit! Argon lasers a beautiful machines. :D And generally it is a bad idea to turn them on and off frequently. There are lots of components, including the tube, which undergo quite a bit thermal stress every time the laser is powered up (and shut down). If you plan to use it again...

    Ruby Diodes?

I think you're going to need to be a bit more specific about what you're talking about. What ruby diodes? What gamma ray lasers? But for the last question, the short answer is no.

    Argon

I used to have a couple of books filled with silly chemistry jokes. I've been looking everywhere for them but it seems they Argon.

HeNe Lasers I saw today (Pic Heavy)

The green and yellow ones will be very obvious, the orange one not so immediately obvious but for a laser geek you should be able to tell the difference.

HeNe Lasers I saw today (Pic Heavy)

I'd buy one as well if it's not 632.8nm or 594nm because I've got those already.

HeNe Lasers I saw today (Pic Heavy)

Those large ones.... something isn't right. 0.9mW on a HeNe that big? It sounds to me like they might not be the usual 632.8nm. I would definitely pick it up, if its anything other than red, that's a hell of a deal. The ones in the bucket are probably damaged somehow, but also not an...

Free Helium Cadmium laser, not working

Hey! Glad that you got the unit safe and sound. It was my first time packing up something quite that large and fragile so I did the best I could. Looks like everything is intact. I sincerely hope that you get it up and running in the future. As for those eBay heads, I don't think the Kimmon...

    (ORDER IN!) GB: Laserglow Pointers!

Psh, nobody thanks me for taking extra time to do those brilliant engravings! :p Just kidding. I'm glad you guys like them. I hope somebody organizes another GB soon, I love doing the engravings as much as you love getting them. :)

    Laserglow Hercules 650

Where did it say class 3B? All Hercules lasers exceeding 500mW are Class 4 and are labeled as such.

Free Helium Cadmium laser, not working

Don't mention it, buddy. One mans trash is another mans treasure, or so they say. UPS should pick it up today and you should have it around Friday provided customs doesn't hold it up. I wish you the very best of luck getting it up and running again. If you do, be sure to send me pictures.

    (ORDER IN!) GB: Laserglow Pointers!

Detailed testing and QC data is available upon request for most lasers ("most" meaning lasers valued over $150). We save the data indefinitely. If either of the Rigel buyers would like to see, PM me.

Free Helium Cadmium laser, not working

Hey thanks buddy. I know if I wanted to wait around with a listing on ebay I could get something for it, but it doesn't feel right to me to be selling something that doesn't work. Plus, I've been sitting on the thing for two years and bringing it along with me even though I've moved twice. It's...

Free Helium Cadmium laser, not working

I brought the laser to work with me today, looks like I won't be able to use LG's shipping account to ship it due to liability problems (fragile glass tubes containing toxic metals and whatnot). I'll get the thing properly packaged this afternoon and then get the dimensions and weights for...

Free Helium Cadmium laser, not working

It might take me a couple days before I can put together a shipping estimate. First I need to find a pair of boxes to ship them in and find the exact dimensions and weight. I'll get back to you as soon as I've got these things together.

Free Helium Cadmium laser, not working

Seeing as the laser head is huge (and a properly sized box will be even bigger), and the power supply is really heavy, shipping will cost a small fortune no matter where it goes. I distinctly remember when it arrived. The UPS guy (a young guy, maybe 25) already had the laser head at the door...

Free Helium Cadmium laser, not working

I'm not sure if anybody would be interested in this or not, but I've got a Kimmon IK4123R-B Helium-Cadmium laser and matching power supply model IM120C-B. I need to get rid of this thing (it's big and my apartment is small) so I'm willing to donate it to a good home for only the cost of...
