    Coherent Innova 90 Ion laser

You actually need 3 phase 45 amp, as shown in picture 2. It may actually start even after a few years of sitting around. Only one way to find out.

    Rigel HV 589 VS GLP-589

Regarding the Rigel-HV being pulsed: Lately, all the new ones we've been getting are pulsed. You will most likely get a pulsed one. Some people might not like that you can see the pulses when you wave it around, but I think it looks more cool that way! :P In any case, the pulsing makes the...

Laserglow 589nm Rigel HV Pro-50 Review

We use Duracell CR123A batteries here at Laserglow. Like everyone else, we recommend going with them. Personally, if I owned a $1300 laser, I would only want to use the best batteries in it.

Laserglow 589nm Rigel HV Pro-50 Review

Glad the stickers made it to you! There is no such extension tube. The laser is designed for a single 3.0V CR123a, if you put two of them in series you will almost certainly overload the driver board. Two in parallel is not recommended either because unless the batteries are voltage and...

    False Cheap 589's

The biggest 589nm laser I've personally seen was just over 700mW. ... it was every bit as amazing as it sounds.

Review: LaserGlow Rigel-6 >5mW 593.5nm Laser Pointer - With Video!

I love seeing reviews like this on the forums. It really helps me feel like the lasers actually GO somewhere. I usually just see them go into a box and get carried out the door, never to be seen again. It's very cool to see what happens after that! Enjoy your laser!

Laserglow 589nm Rigel HV Pro-50 Review

Take good care of that thing! That was the most powerful 589 handheld I've ever seen.

    Argon Bulb

If you're still looking for hard numerical data, here you go dude: NIST Handbook - Download It's pretty much a list of all the spectral information you could possibly want for every element. Wavelengths are in Angstroms, which are 1/10th of a nm. It's what I've used to calibrate multiple...

    Physics teacher needing your advice

As much as I hate to shamelessly plug the company I work for, it sounds like you'd get an idea of what you need much faster by talking to someone on the phone. Give Laserglow a call, we've got people who do exactly that (answer all your questions on the phone, that is). We sell to schools and...

*Ordered* Rigel HV Pro - 589 nm

I remember checking this one before we shipped it. I thought to myself "Wow, this guy is getting one hell of a laser!" Lets see... got the serial number here... what did I type in as the measured power? ... oh man... oh WOW.... 70.8mW average and 95.1mW peak. It's.... a monster! In fact it...

Yet another reason Laserglow is awesome

What pains me the most is, the same day this got posted, another employee came to me and told me about how they sent out that letter with some stickers. And I said "awe man, we could have posted that on reddit! Next time let me take picture before you mail it!" About an hour later, the customer...

    Laserglow Aries for sale

Pics are helpful. Please understand your post does look pretty scammy (this isn't craigslist!). If you've got the serial number (inside the battery tube), PM it to me so I can confirm it for the good people here.

    lite leak

Back in school we did an experiment where we built a HeNe cavity with external optics and special laser tubes that had AR-coated windows instead of mirrors. One guy accidentally used two OC mirrors, and had equal power coming out both ends! We were surprised it even worked. Because of that...

    LG Lyra-B5: Cleaning the Lens

The lenses are actually plastic, that was my mistake. It turns out they were recently changed to high-quality AR-coated plastic lenses because it was more cost effective with no loss in optical quality. Very sorry for the confusion.

FS: CNI GLP 593.5nm (594) pointer, rated for 3-5mW.

The serial isn't in our system (nor are any serials that seem close - they can be hard to read sometimes), so it's either from before November 2009 or it didn't come from us. Sorry I can't provide more info.

    Quack's For Sale Stuff!

Re: A WHOLE Bunch of Electronic stuff for sale You have some cool stuff there that I would certainly be interested in, but the lack of paypal and international shipping is probably putting some people off. LPFers are all over the world and Paypal, despite all its flaws, is still the best option...

FS: CNI GLP 593.5nm (594) pointer, rated for 3-5mW.

Regarding if the laser was bought from us or bought from CNI: If you PM me the serial number (should be written on the inside of the aperture cap or tailcap), I can check to see if it came from us. This will only work provided we sold it AFTER November 2009, though.

    LG Lyra-B5: Cleaning the Lens

Okay, your laser is still under warranty until Feb 1st. I don't work in sales so I can't do much else for you. What you should do next is e-mail sales@laserglow.com or call us at 416-729-7976 and ask for an RMA number to return your damaged laser. Let them know the problem you're having...
