    Laserglow Vega HV?

They have a power input jack just like the Hercules and work just fine with the Hercules power supply. :)

    Laserglow Vega HV?

Oh dude, Zraffleticket, you should have waited... Now I have to give you some bad news (but it's good news for everyone else). We're going to put these Vega-HV's up for sale, probably on Thursday or Friday. And I've been given explicit instructions to let YOU guys get the opportunity to buy...

    Laserglow Vega HV?

This is exactly the case. The Vega-HV has been in and out of the prototype phase for years now (we thought we had the kinks worked out, but then it turns out we didn't). There is little demand for them so we haven't been moving too fast with the process. As you can imagine these lasers are...

ALC60x argon and extended cavity - MORE GREEN -

Wow, thanks for the explanation Steve. I was always under the impression that the gain on a HeNe was too weak to support multiple lines, since all lines either draw from the same ULL or dump into the same LLL, I forget which. But it makes sense that there would be a small market for multiline...

ALC60x argon and extended cavity - MORE GREEN -

I actually did this trick with a HeNe about a year ago. The head was a 3mW outputting 594nm HeNe, and I used a HeNe OC mirror that I got from eBay. What really surprised me was that I seemed to be getting 4 HeNe wavelengths lasing simultaneously, which should be impossible. I figured they must...

Anyone know what laser this is?

The laser will eventually stop outputting any laser light as the gas mix is depleted. They typically last 5000-10,000 hours, depending on who you talk to. Any random tube you get on ebay, especially untested, may already have been run into the ground, or the gas may have leaked out. Replenishing...

    Laserglow Vega HV?

Alright guys, here's the scoop on these things: We ran into shelf-life issues with the previous set of prototypes. We identified the problem and had new ones made, but these new prototypes have been sitting on the shelf for about 6 months now. I'm pretty overloaded with other matters at the...

    Laserglow Vega HV?

Send me a PM when you're ready to seriously talk about getting one and I'll give you the lowdown on these bad boys.

    Laserglow Vega HV?

Some are fully up to spec, some are not. We'd be sure to give you the full rundown of your specific unit before you buy.

ALC60x argon and extended cavity - MORE GREEN -

mojo hit the nail right on the head with this one. What you've got here is two laser cavities, one embedded within the other. The smaller cavity is resonating blue, the larger one is resonating green. Since the blue and green wavelengths utilize separate atomic transitions, they don't steal...

    Laserglow Vega HV?

The Vega-HV is exactly what it looks like, a Hercules sized laser that does 589nm. The reason it's not linked to anywhere on the site is because it's a product that is currently still under development. We do have some prototype units right now, they're unusual but they do work and I think they...

    Coherent Innova 90 Ion laser

If you've got a sustained discharge but no lasing it may also be the mirrors are out of alignment. Try very slightly adjusting them, one at a time, on the X and Y axis. If it doesn't work be sure to put them back to exactly where they were before.

    Laserglow and CNI relationship?

The warranty is 6 months, provided you haven't been abusing the laser. Contact sales@laserglow.com and let them know your serial number and a description of the problem (pictures are helpful if possible) and they can take it from there.

    Laserglow and CNI relationship?

All of the class IIIa 532nm pointers (Lyra, Galileo, Altair, Anser, Gold/Platinum plated) are not made by CNI at all, and neither are any of our Brightline alignment lasers. If your Gold is mode hopping and still under warranty we can replace it for you.

6 WATT green burning various things

I think this will only work if your way of asking includes a check for about $13000! :p

6 WATT green burning various things

Hey guys. Just thought I'd make a little video of a 6 watt laser I got to mess around with last week. I use it to burn some stuff, including wood, plastic and paper. Also towards the end I focus it down and use it to slice right through things. It's not every day that you get to play with 6...

    What Actually Damages Your Eye?

Actually, ionizing radiation creates ions, which is when the electron is given so much energy that it is ejected from the atom entirely. Simply moving up and down between energy levels is exactly what electrons do when stuck by non-ionizing photons. When they drop from high to low they emit...

    Coherent Innova 90 Ion laser

Running this Coherent laser on a single phase is a REALLY bad idea unless it explicitly states somewhere in the manual that you can do it. You risk blowing up a lot of components, including possibly the tube. Don't try this. Also, 208V 16 amp three phase service, kitchen or otherwise, is not...

    FDA took me laser :(

It's all very preliminary stuff since Health Canada only informed us of this new law recently. Also the actual laws are extremely broad and vague. We are working hard to come up with a clear-cut policy, but for now we can't sell Class 3B or IV lasers to Canadian consumers anymore. The vendor...

    FDA took me laser :(

Somebody has already brought that to their attention, and guess what... Laserglow Technologies - Handheld Lasers, Alignment Lasers and Lab / OEM Lasers Check the section called "Country-Specific Import Regulations." I can't get into the details about this, suffice to say that Health Canada...
