Using 638nm and 520nm to make a yellow combined laser

Yep, I've already search the forums, the main ones that had info for me was Jayrobs Mag and his pointer. But I figured I might ask now since those were years ago. I was even thinking of using a PHR sled (kinda like the white fusion builds) to make it but it seems there isn't anyone that sells them.

Using 638nm and 520nm to make a yellow combined laser

I got a RGB module from techhood it works okayish, the pwm on it is rather meh. I want to try and make RG analogue one for the challenge. I had a Spartan 30mw 589nm from DL for a while but sold it a while back since I was moving around a lot and didn't want it to get broken. I've been browsing...

Using 638nm and 520nm to make a yellow combined laser

Cool thanks! My only problem is most 532nm are dpss and have much small beams than 638nm. That's why I was thinking about using a 520nm for slightly bigger beam size to go with the 638nm. I'll probably try out both 532nm and 520nm and see how big the difference is. Thanks again!

    Help with finding a driver

I'm looking for a driver that I can use a external potentiometer to adjust the power. I was looking at a BlackBuck 8M but it seems that they are sold out from DTR's shop. Does anyone know of other drivers that can do the same thing? Thanks!

Using 638nm and 520nm to make a yellow combined laser

Just had a quick question. I'm planning to try and put together a yellow laser by combing 638nm and 520nm and I wanted to know what a good blend would be for a "perfect" yellow. I'm looking to get around 50-100mw combined power. What do you think would be a good ratio for it?

Dual color custom host 520nm and 635nm rebuild - merge my two lasers into one

That's actually really cool. Nice work!

    574nm DPSS 20mW

I doubt these ones will have moisture problems, especially since they are sold by a pretty big company. And if they do just reassemble the projector and send it in as warranty. :p

    574nm DPSS 20mW

He bought it from a Alibaba seller, but they no longer make them.

    574nm DPSS 20mW

That's why I contacted them to get more info. Thought it was weird that they listed it as a diode.

    574nm DPSS 20mW

I found a RGBY DJ light show and it has a 20mW 574nm DPSS laser module inside of it for $250. I figured someone on here would want one to tear it down. I contacted them and they did confirm it was DPSS. https:// www. chauvetdj.com/products/scorpion-storm-rgby/ I also recently contacted OPTLasers...

    532nm modules

    Cool thanks!

    532nm modules

Anyone know where I can get some decent 532nm modules? I'm looking for 100mw and above, most of the ones I've bought always seem to be underspec. I know Techhood used to be the best to get some okayish ones but its been a while since I bought them from him. Thanks!

    Looking for RGB laser

Well you do you want one for $2400 or one for $850?

What did LPF get for Christmas???

For $60-70 to me it could just be standalone adjustable diodes and I'd still be happy. Being able to adjust from low power to something that is decently strong would be sweet.

What did LPF get for Christmas???

Thanks Red! I'll be waiting for a bit till I go buy everything for it (at least mid Jan) since I'm in the process of moving. So you might be done with yours by then. I'm excited to see some more pictures of yours module.

What did LPF get for Christmas???

Cool so I had it right. I was planning to just use three single cell 18650 packs but your right I should use AAs. Thanks for all the help Red!

What did LPF get for Christmas???

So I can just buy three of the last one, wire a single cell battery pack to negative onto the RGB board then wire a positive from the battery pack and the RGB board to the PWM Controller and have adjustable power, right? Then just do it for the other two. Sorry for all the questions I'm new to...

What did LPF get for Christmas???

Hey Red, can you do a setup guide once you get your PWM up and running. I'd be quite interested in seeing how you do it, so I could make one myself one day. Thanks!
