Re: O-like 400mw green - Review @weeba2kv Since you have such a good unit. Could you check the max distance for exploding a baloon? Mine managed 6M today. I drew a black dot with marker. It took some seconds though. I thought that it may be some indication of power. I'm just trying to decide...

Re: O-like 400mw green - Review The charger I received is also YL-103A with a 2800mAh UltraFire battery. This charger works perfectly actually. It stops the charge at 4.17V which is good. Now, all the 18650's I use have a protection circuit but still.

Re: O-like 400mw green - Review Why must there be such a huge difference from the same (supposedly) verified product? ^ Yours is top notch, mine is mediocre and InfinitusEquitas'as is super weak.. I decided to order from o-like since everyone was so impressed by their quality control. I'm not.

Re: O-like 400mw green - Review @weeba2kv These batteries have a top voltage of 4.2V. At 3.0V or so they are close to discharged. I think you received one of those golden samples. @DAST That is far from >350 in my opinion. >250mw would be more correct. I'm so tempted to get mine measured!

Re: O-like 400mw green - Review I'm assuming there was some smoke in that last video :) Looks like it burns quicker than mine.. Weird.

Re: O-like 400mw green - Review ^ Looks like it performs similarly to mine.. What are the burning abilities at 2M (6.5ft) or so?

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review @Plexus I see the problem. Focused or not matters a lot. And it seems like several ppl are strugling getting theirs to a good focal point. I have found an easy and quick method with mine so the next video is shot with targets at the...

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review @InfinitusEquitas With the w.p lens. @plexus Thanks for the info. That may explain it. I didn't take all the variables into account. I was also not aware of the fact that a 532 is harder to focus due to its nature. I thought it was all...

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review For those that might be interested, I made a video comparing burning abilities of this versus a 200mw red dilda.. Both are perfectly focused. Batteries in the green one are fully charged and measured 4.17V, while in the red one they are of...

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review @InfinitusEquitas My focusing head unsrewed easily. It did took some turns counter clockwise. I have not tried to remove the lens or modify anything yet but once you unscrew the head, the w.p lens is off anyway. Then you can compare the...

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review @InfinitusEquitas You mean the middle part on the picture? I barely touched it and it uncrewed. I have not tried to fiddle with the lens part yet, so that I don't know. Let us know how it goes.

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review Judging by the decription, it's incredibly simple. As long a you have something to twist the inner tube with. The important thing AFAIK is not to scratch / polute any lens.

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review So in theory your laser could deliver even more than 600mw. That's impressive. It sounds like a simple task, removing the lens. Nice to know there's an option. If new heads are sold separately one could make one with and one without water...

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review You're probably right about the gamble. But did you remove the w.p lens to achieve that power? If so, what was it prior to removing? And do you know the easiest way? I've read that it shouldn't have much IR. But if it does, it could...

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review @InfinitusEquitas I used this simple recipe for a thermal meter: http://laserpointerforums.com/f42/simple-laser-power-meter-using-ir-thermometer-26341.html It's not exactly precise but it works. If you could make one and read the temp, we...

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review Since I don't live in US, it's kinda hard to get it measured properly. But my thermal method should giv an indication. And I do remember what my 200mw true green looked like and a 125mw dragon laser. I am sure that this one is not twice as...

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review Of couse I tried to focus it. It does burn but only at a shorter distance (+/- 1M) and not any faster than the red dilda. The only difference is that the hole in for instance a CD case gets a half mm bigger than with dilda. I would say that...

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review Yep. I have 5 18650 batteries in total. All are brand new since I had to get some new good ones that could drive my quite demanding Aurora flashlight. I've tested several fully charged ones, including the one that came with this laser and...

Re: O-like 400mw green - $214 (hitting 600mw) - Review weeba2kv, I can totally relate to what you wrote.. I've been interested in lasers for quite some time and advanced the power slowly but surely. When I was looking for a new toy at an affordable price I found this nice forum and thread and...
