daguin, in your review are you saying that when the module is adjusted so that it is focused, the rubber o-ring on the threaded lense holder is no longer inside the outer 'sleeve' and therefore allows some play in the assembly? thanks.

I am building myself my first red laser and I am using an lpc815 LOC diode into an Ultrafire c3 flashlight host, I have soldered the +ve and -ve connections onto the diode which is all ok, I have left the 3rd pin (case pin??) unconnected, when fitting the diode in its module into the flashlight...

Do you have examples of beam with the 405-G-1 lense etc, showing what you mean? Sure it must be nice having higher power output, but I agree that if the beam quality suffers noticeably then this needs to be considered when deciding what you want from your laser.

I asked the seller for the cost of shipping to UK for lense/lense assembly and he told me it would be $6 and $1.65 insurance, this was 1st class international shipping. I agree about it being a pain when shipping isnt clearly shown but he says UK was removed due to problems with shipping lasers...

Are 8X bluray diodes available to purchase from anywhere or do you have to buy a complete drive and remove them?

I purchased a Flexdrive from Drlava in June this year, reading through the flexdrive thread it seems there are a high and low version of this driver, one for bluray diodes and the other for reds, is this correct or have I got confused? Thanks
