    lpc826

Could just be a bad diode, I've run an LPC-826 at 515mA for countless hours with it staying alive. Those diodes are pretty tough.

    Ridiculously Overpowered 445nm Leadlight

Thanks for all the great comments everyone! This little guy was a blast to make, and showing it off to people really blew their minds to see so much power in such a little package.

Mini-review 50mW Green module from Fasttech

I just picked up my module a few hours ago and built it into a survival lasers stainless steel host (my favorite host for any build, by far). The module comes apart into 3 pieces like above. It can't tell how powerful it is, but it seems to be just a bit brighter than all my other greens...

FEELER: Rifle Host Group Buy (update)

Actually, depending on when its time to collect funds and every part of the deal is settled and figured out, I may still be in.

FEELER: Rifle Host Group Buy (update)

Yeahhh, I'm out too. I need to go to the grocery store real soon anyways... lol. Better to spend my money on food than lasers. Gotta eat!

FEELER: Rifle Host Group Buy (update)

Re: FEELER: Rifle Host Group Buy I would be down for 1: 532nm - 100mW.

    First Custom Build (300mw 650nm)

If your diode is an LPC-826, you'll be fine with using just the module as heatsinking. I have an 826 running at 515mA (so around 300mW as well) in a Survival Lasers S4. The heatsink is tiny tiny tiny and made of aluminum. I've had mine on for over 30 minutes (left it on during a game of LoL)...

    50mW 520nm Osram diode on Ebay $200

$125..... If it gets that low, I'd be in!

I'd say Nexus.... That host is sick! Plus, who doesn't like a little 532? ;)

    Ridiculously Overpowered 445nm Leadlight

Update! I focused the laser to infinity, then used thermal epoxy to hold it all in place for everlasting infinity focus.

    Ridiculously Overpowered 445nm Leadlight

Thanks! Isn't the host just amazing?

    Ridiculously Overpowered 445nm Leadlight

Howdy  Not too long ago (like, 2 weeks ago) I discovered the wonderful leadlight pen host. I know, I know. I'm way late to the party. But the party doesn't start till it gets dark! So, I decided to make one. I contacted Jayrob for the build kit (love the host, man!) and Flaminpyro...

What operating system does your phone run on?

This past October I made the move from Verizon to Sprint (crazy, right??) going from a SGS3 to a Motorola Photon Q. Before the SGS3, I had a Droid 3, and before that, a Droid Incredible. Before the DInc I went through at least 5 EnV 2's, and before that, I had the OG Motorola RAZR. While I gave...

Your experiences in shipping time from Hong Kong

I've had things come to me within a week, but a few times I've waited a solid month. Usually its 2 around weeks though.

Re: 300mW 660nm Super Pen Oh man, that is one sick looking host! Care to share a link to it?
