How much is the aixiz lens, and does it fix the divergence problem?

Thanks for making that video! Looks like you got a keeper. What's the longest time you have ran it for? Does it get any dimmer as it heats up?

LEDShoppe has good customer service. I got an underspec laser and emailed them about it. They said to send it back for a replacement and they would refund the shipping charges for the underspec laser.

Yeah I tried to focus mine but I eventually ended up with the lens in the same spot that it came with. I'm not sure about other units. I think I read on the other thread that someone adjusted theirs and got better divergence. Might be worth a try if the divergence is really bad on yours.

How's the divergence on the O-like? Can you take some beamshots if possible? :thanks:

The focus can be changed by removing the cap and unscrew/screw the focusing mechanism.

Mine doesn't mode hop at all. You should get it replaced. I tried focusing mine but the divergence does not seem to get any better than where the lens was originally. I guess this laser is made for burning and not for pointing far away.

Not sure you got a bad unit. Everyone agrees divergence on these are pretty bad. I think mine is the same as yours. Not sure about the power on mine since I don't have an LPM.

Yeah the battery is rechargeable. In fact, I should get my charger today and finally be able charge it up and use this laser again.

It comes with a 10440 lithium battery (about the size of an AAA battery). You can get a charger from DealExtreme, Kaidomain, ebay, etc. I was hoping my Arctic would come on time so I could use that charger but the Arctic is not here yet :(

Thanks! Be sure to get a charger for the 10440 if you don't have one already. I hate having down time because I don't have a fresh battery to use.
