Possible pair of Yellow/Red Glasses (Cheap)

I know that the uvex SCT-Orange glasses block 405, 445, and 532 pretty well as shown here: , so I thought about looking for a cheap pair of glasses for the other end of the spectrum. I came across these which use the uvex SCT-Blue lenses. I would hazard a guess that they will work fairly well...

How not to treat your thermopiles

You might as well just see if you can melt the sensor with CO2 at this point. There is no way that thing gives an accurate reading if it works at all.

    Lasers and popcorn kernels?

I would assume so, but a blue ~445/450nm is next on my shopping list so I can't test it. Maybe a 200-300mW Red single mode would work just as well though.

    O-like 50mW Power Rock + O-like experience

What exactly would you like to see? Different beamshots? If you have anything specific you want to see I will take some more pics.

--Purchasing from Companies vs Buy/Sell/Trade section--

Companies usually look to make a higher profit than individuals because they have more advertising costs. Posting on a forum is free, while paying for a marketing campaign will cost a bit. Basically they just want more profit.

    O-like 50mW Power Rock + O-like experience

Thank you. If anyone has any suggestions for camera settings or tips for laser photography I would love to be pointed in the right direction. I just used a cheap canon a2200 and turned on the macro setting in auto mode.

laser pointer that works on a plama TV

My 50mW Power Rock shows up just fine, although it does reflect decent amount of light, so a reflection into the audience would probably not be a good idea.

    My first laser "show"

That's pretty cool, but it's hard to watch because the light from the lasers is going into the camera lens off of a reflection or something causing weird lines and flashing.

New to having nice laser what to do with it

My advice to you is be extremely careful if you dare even do this. It's probably in your best interest not to shine an illegal laser across your entire city. Remember that O-like lasers do not meet FDA requirements and are not FDA approved. I do suggest that you share your experience with o-like...

Direct Green Laser Diode Technology Progress

What about the Sharp "quattron" TVs or whatever they are called? Those use rgb and yellow LEDs to produce more natural whites rather than a bluish white. I think there are some valid uses for yellow diodes as well as bright green. I'm thinking that even though 515-530nm is considered ideal, we...

Why do low mw IR lasers even exist?

I suppose you could use it as a flashlight if you get proper night vision gear. From what I understand, night vision binoculars use IR to illuminate the area for two camera lenses which you then can see your surroundings on the screen within the night vision binoculars. I have gotten to use a...

    1 Watt 638nm Rook laser 3X14500

Just wondering, how does the spot of the lamasery look? Is more of a line or is this a true single mode diode? Sorry if this is a just a noob question.

The pictures were where it says Pictures - Click Here. I did add them into the post for convenience though. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. I will do my best to answer them.

Turn your pen laser into a burning laser!

That's a pretty cool tutorial you have there. Personally I would have seen if you could have used another laser to help it burn.

    O-like 50mW Power Rock + O-like experience

Today I will be reviewing the 50mW 532nm O-like Power Rock handheld laser. This is my first real laser (I have glasses before anyone asks) besides some cheap red pointers, but I don't really count those. I'll start off talking about the order process and shipping. I contacted Susie via email...

    O-like: good and bad....

I can now fully attest that O-like is truly a grab bag. I got a 50mW 532nm power rock from them, and it works great right out of the package. I'm going to do a full review within the next few days. My opinion on Chinese company issues is simply to dispute and get a refund and re-order the...

Shipping Timelines by Companies and Regions

Update for o-like shipping (despite the fact that it's still a grab bag on whether your laser is working or not on arrival). I should have received my laser in 9 days via standard shipping, which was SingPost>USPS registered mail (which is insured up to $25k last I checked, and definitely...

NEW PRODUCTS - Hot of the productin line!

Solution: Don't buy from them. Get a laserglow or optotronics laser instead. If they sold Spartan hosts I would consider buying depending on the price.

    Companies shipping to USA??

There are a few companies that do, but this generally tends to happen at customs which is why shipping takes so long.
