    405nm safety questions

    Gonna agree with this.

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele Hmm, I might need to get the 488nm too then:drool: I remember only a year or two ago people here were paying like $1000+ for a 488nm pointer from CNI.

Best "High quality" 532nm Pen in 2018?

For classy and safe <5mw pointers you really cannot go wrong with LaserGlow. I've never hesitated to recommend their Lyra series or give them as a gift.

    Small but strong laser pointer?

This is one of those "cool in theory", "impractical and dangerous in real life" type ideas.

    510nm pointer for $19 legit?

    True lol

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele Just bought a 505nm guardian to add to my wavelength collection. Would there be any point in getting one of the 488nm guardians if I already have a 495nm guardian? I assume the colors would be almost...

    510nm pointer for $19 legit?

It would be great if manufacturers would adopt a standardized battery scheme which is always followed. Basically the negative side of the battery should go towards the spring. Seems like most things follow this scheme, but every now and then you get some weird product which doesn't.

Sanwu 488nm G7 Pocket Laser Review

Oh, that's easy. 589 nm direct diode would be a dream come true. DPSS yellow lasers are super overpriced and hideously inefficient.

    Another Rip off!

I always get annoyed by jokers like these guys who run a predatory site trying to take advantage of ignorant customers who don't know any better.

    My 493nm 'Jetlasers Ti-B' Build

Amazing builds like usual, I've come to expect nothing less from your threads. I've got a Sanwu 495nm, and it really is a unique laser color. Not quite green and not quite blue. It's sort of like how 561nm is between green and yellow.

    Green as grass

Welcome to the forum. Plenty of helpful people here so long as you're willing to do the basic legwork to become familiar with things.

The best chance to get real 1w green laser.

Looks impressive, would be nice to see somebody review one of them.

    Alien Life

Sounds fun, I still need to post a review of the 495 nm laser I got from sanwu a while back. Maybe I'll finally get the time this weekend.

    Alien Life

Sup, I was never really gone, I just got really busy with work and other projects and forgot to post here for a while.

    Alien Life

Honestly I have no idea. I assume there must be some kind of life out there, even if only primitive pond scum or something. With that said, I won't be convinced that aliens have actually visited us without some kind of proof or first hand experience. I put that idea in the "I want to believe"...

    ColdHeat Solder irons

Soldering irons are something you really don't want to cheap out on if you're serious about electrical work. Buy something decent like a Weller and it will give you a lifetime of outstanding service. Bad/cheap soldering irons make everything harder at best, and can destroy sensitive...

    this laser can burn things

That laser can burn things, but I'd recommend spending a bit more for a Thor M2 from laserpointerstore or something.

    My sdlazer 301 stopped working

If you have some magnetic battery spacers you can possibly use them to check for connection issues. Most issues are related to the batteries not being quite long enough. Also if you have a multimeter try checking the battery voltage just to be sure.
