Hello all, as a newcomer to the laser scene I am obviously not well informed about the ins and outs of same. Can anyone tell me what would be the best type of battery for a (apparently) 50mW green pen type laser. It "currently" takes 2x1.5V batterries and seems to be quite powerful given that the only other experience I had was with a 1mV red keychain pointer. I can put a bright green dot on trees at least 200 yards away but it eats up batteries. By the by, I have ordered a 100mV green laser from Dino Direct so will let you know what its like getting stuff from them for the UK. Their prices were in sterling but I suspect that they tailor their adds to whatever country the are selling to. Are they a chinese company?
