Stay away from any "UltraFire" or any battery name that ends with the word "Fire".
Lookss like Aus Electronics Direct doesn't sell any ****Fire brands so thats good.
Looks like you found what you need there.
Also if there are any vape shops near by you can usualy find batterys there.
Wow I babbled in nonsence before.. I want to save face:giggle:
Yes I was thinking working on a hollow piece tube and threading one end of the OD with a die, I knew the OP only had taps but if he were to build a host he would need a die.
Its crazy not to buy a hollow tube instead of a solid...
Yup I didn't think type this through to well:rolleyes:
I was thinking a flush type of fit between the host and tail cap.. I can blame it on age as thats a copout.
Thanks for the pic and the chart.. Let me get my bearing together.. as i'm embarrased big time!
Oh, I kinds mixed up the words..
I would guess depending if you got a solid piece of Brass or Aluminum or a hollow piece you would need machine a undercut in the inside for the tap and need to machine down?? the outside and thread it so both the end cap and host are flush together.??
I don't...
It would be Super Nice to have a CNC that threads and taps..
Years and years ago I worked with 3 Axis Miyano, I loved how the cutting tools backed off after machining and didn't leave a score mark when coming back..
Do you think its safe to say that they might work on only "1 inch" or "25mm" OD round stock and really nothing else. Unless you machine down bigger stock on the switch end cap or the front?
You can always grind down the tip of the tap a little "if needed" on a surface grinder.
Oh I think they can be used for sure. The M25 x .50 and .75 might be to course?? but i'm not sure.
I would go on ebay to see how much the die's go for.
I don't know about the 20 post rule but we never needed permission to add or edit are signatures..
Just show what your comfortable showing if you worried..
When I lurked at first and then joinned years later I would look at members sigs all the time and hoping over time I reached a goal..
So...
Have you bought them or thinking about it?
Is it a 2 set tap and die or just the tap?
If its a tap it ptrobably needs to be a flat bottom tap..and then you need to find a OD die..
Maby its one of those 525nm we are seeing lately?? The color looks close to a 532 but the beam is to thick.
Im not seeing a sign of af a focus knob though and Alien posted less or around 800mW.
I'm thinking he set the focus but you can change it with a 2 prong wrench..
