Laser Image projectors for higher-power lasers?

Interesting link... at $398.09 per copy, I hope he still managed to sell a few copies! :)

Laser Image projectors for higher-power lasers?

I found this thread: https://laserpointerforums.com/threads/how-to-make-a-laser-grid.26437/#post-1548212 But still not much. Interesting mention of an x-y scanner...???

Laser Image projectors for higher-power lasers?

Nope - to project a large (3 to 4'/~ 1 meter) daylight-visible grid onto objects and surfaces. Ideally something that might have a 3x3 or 4x4 grid pattern... Thanks

Laser Image projectors for higher-power lasers?

I'm looking for a source for one of those "holographic" (as they call them sometimes in ads) image projectors, like were popular back in the 90s with small key-chain laser pointers that had filters to project hearts, smiley-faces, etc... but I'm looking for one that will project a square grid...

    Line-Forming Lens sources these days?

Looking for a (semi-cylindrical?) lens that'll take a +/- 2mm beam, and give me a nice flat divergence such that it projects a line, rather than a spot. Preferably glass - I could be passing up to 8W of 445nm through it, so I want to have the thing have a fairly high optical damage threshold...

    Custom host fabrication?

I have a plastic-bodied hand-held case, the form-factor of which I love. I would like to find someone who can replicate this item in aluminum so I can use it as a laser host and not melt the case and cook my diode. See pics. Yes, it's an old Radio Shack digital tire pressure checker lol. But...

Been a few years - what wattages are we up to now?

Thanks very much! These look like they should do the trick - I can use the Black Buck 8M with these since that can handle up to 8 Amps, and the NUBM4F maxes out at 6 Amps... correct? We've come a long way from popping balloons and cutting electrical tape! :)

Been a few years - what wattages are we up to now?

I've been on here on & off since the very beginning. Every few years I pop on to get updated. Last time I was on here around 2017 I picked up several 445nm 3W blues (they're still alive amazingly!) Looking around now I believe I'm seeing that 8W diodes may be available? Looking for some...

DTR's Laser Shop - Laser Diodes & More

Items received today.... the one I've powered up so far is fantastic. I'm treating them gingerly now, running at 6vdc, but they are powerful and beautiful. Burned a hole through a cardboard box! :) Nice units. Thanks. Dave

DTR's Laser Shop - Laser Diodes & More

Hi there! Long time... glad to see you're still in business. Just ordered 2 of the 9mm 465nm NDB7875 with driver & copper module. Looking forward to playing with these. I hope you're doing well and prospering! Dave Xanatos

    Tunable Diode Lasers? Or, 609.5nm?

I'm doing an experiment with SPPs (Surface Plasmon Polaritons) on a metallic hydride, coupling the beam to the surface with a BK7 prism. I'm needing either a tunable laser that can include the range from 635nm to 609nm, or alternately, a 609.5nm source. Are either available for less money than...

    Direct-Drive 445 Host

Nice info on direct driving - if, like me, you don't really demand that the intensity stays at maximum until the batteries finally give up the ghost, it's apparently fine, especially if the Vb very nearly equals the Vf of the diode. Thanks for the info! Dave

    Current Limiting with Resistor only...?

One reason: Space. That's it. For a variety of reasons, I have a number of things that need to get stuffed into a tiny space - this is one of them. The space difference between the LM317 driver vs. a resistor actually can make the difference of including a function or not. Otherwise - I'd...
