I dont know the name of them but I'm sure a lot of us have played with the cheapie fleamarket lasers that have all those cool attachment thingies you screw on the cap and they project an image on the wall. My question is are these "attachment thingies" available for lasers of greater power? And...

I have a serious question but really how much more dangerous is a 50mw compared to a 1W or 2W. Both will blind you. Both can burn your skin. Both are extremely dangerous if not handled properly. I'm a noob not trying to be sarcastic but what am I missing.

Can someone clarify for me what are some of the differences I would notice between a 1W and 2W 445nm laser? Is the stream that much more visible? Is the burning power double??? How much more visible is it? Things like that what can I expect?

Guys, What batteries would be recommended for a 445 (blue), typical host, around 1.5w-2w? And how long could I expect it to last.
