Its a 488nm around 100mW and i hadnt posted where i bought it from because i didnt want to "run them down" until i worked out what the problem was and i gave them a chance to fix it. I have been in contact with the seller and i will post it back today for them to look at. And in reply to Hak...

    Help buying first blue laser!!

Thanks for the replies. I did a bit more research and they only have 60mw 488nm in the pocket but have 150mw listed in the guardian so might be as the above explained and bigger host better heat displacement so able to drive more power without wavelength shift. Not that i really know what im...

    Help buying first blue laser!!

Ok thanks for the info guys. I was really more curious as francis from sanwu said that anything over 90mw and the wavelength would be over 490nm. He said he does have a 80mw 487nm available, would the beam etc be significantly more visible etc between say a 80mw and a 120-130mw? Oh and dylan...

    Help buying first blue laser!!

That does look really nice blue! How did you get a 150mw 488nm, i heard that the higher the power it shifts wavelength so ends up being more 492nm? And that looks more like a pocket from sanwu? i could be wrong (actually i probably am wrong lol) but the guardian looks like it would be bigger...

Not sure if this is the right section but i need advice on buying my first blue laser. Bit of back story so you can point me in right direction, i have owned the typical red and greens but have always loved the blues (and prices in the past meant they were out of reach). Came back to lasers just...

    Sanwu 10440 laser!

Hey guys, ive been stalking the laser world for a long time but decided to get myself one as well. Im looking at the sanwu 488nm and have a question about batteries. I know the voltage is different between a aaa and a 10440, but will the laser run with just lot less mw if you use a aaa instead...
