I originally bought it to burn aiptasia anemones in my fish rank but as this has the beam expander fitted it burns at a further distance than I wanted. It's just sitting in a cupboard unused. Has only ever been turned on a couple of times. Someone may as well get some use out of it. It works...
I ordered mine from darklylabs in Australia into the UK. Eagle pair glasses. Might be best asking them first if they'd put a lower value for customs. It cost me £70 to get 2 pairs but cost me an extra £25 with customs fees as they put the full value on the customs form.
Do you think the challenger 2 3W 445nm would be good enough for my purposes? That's what they recommended at first. Then I was thinking the striker 7w 445nm, but it's not cheap and maybe overkill?
Thanks.
Unfortunately they just disappear to nothing when you go anywhere near them. There are predators that will eat them but may turn on expensive corals. Last time I bought the coral safe ones they just vanished.
Tried different things to kill them but the liquid sold to kill them just seems to have the effect of temporarily making them disappear then spores spread and loads more appear. Thought a powerful laser would completely fry them.
Thanks Rich. Would Sanwu be the best place to purchase one? It's so hard finding a suitable laser. Searched ebay but don't know if I trust the sellers. This one claims to be 5W

Was considering the 7W...
I'm looking a laser to do this too, I'm from the UK. Been looking on ebay and saw this, they claim it's 5W. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F183786766035
Or I've been looking at the 7w striker from Sanwu after looking on this forum but it is...
Hi from Northern Ireland. I joined the forum as I am looking to buy a laser to kill pest anemones in my reef aquarium. Was looking at some on ebay and some from sanwu after searching on here.
