Yes you definitely want green for it's brightness. If your in medium daylight 50-150mw would be good. Just make sure the laser is actually to spec. Many places sell laser rated at say 100mw and they're more like 10mw. Do you need the beam visible or just the dot it produces on the map?
I agree. Olike is fishy. I bought a laser from them. It's a great laser. I paid for it then waited. I contacted Susie to see if it was shipped but never got any confirmation. Then one day it showed up.
Thanks for all the great battery info. Very useful stuff. So I measured the actual current draw of the laser with my DMM. It was 2.07 A! Wow no wonder the batteries didn't last. So my next question is what are these IMR li-ion batteries I was recommended?
Hi I got a nice 400mw Olike laser. Works great. Just wondering how long the 18650 3800ma battery will last? I know it depends on how much I use it. I'm just looking for a rough estimate (A few hours, A days, days) etc.?
I bought my first 2 lasers from them as well. A 100mw and 200mw green. Both way under spec. Nothing like advertised. The 100mw works great as a pointer though. The 200mw broke.
