The switch is indeed loose. I wasn't sure if it was meant to be or not though. I'm not sure how to get to it inside the tailcap, but I'll try to figure it out. :) Edit: Figured it out and tightened it up. It worked! Thankyou so much! (and to everyone else who tried to help :))

I hadn't tried it when it isn't screwed on tightly, but I have now you've suggested it and it didn't work :( And yes, the cap seems to screw on the same amount regardless if the batteries are in the laser or not. Thankyou for the suggestions, though! :)

I've tried screwing the cap on tighter and working it until a connection is made, but unless I have it positioned as it is in the pic I posted it just doesn't turn on. I don't have access to a continuity tester but will ask around and see if anyone I know has one. Thanks for the help :)

Hey everyone, I've been searching around for a 1000mW laser rescently, but I really don't know who to trust, and who not to. What price are we generally looking at for a 1000mW blue laser? I saw a 2000mW laser for $42, but it seems too good to be true. I would be willing to spend around $150...
