Why not just go for one of Yobresal's 1.4W blue ice laser? It's half the cost and stronger and not to mention it is focusable unlike the arctic and spartan. Though if I were to choose between spartan or arctic I would take the spartan any day. And I own one.

The batteries I use only go up to about 3.3-3.4v when fully charged. Should I try using a single 3.7v 18650 li-ion?
