I've got the various Force FX LS from the last decade. I replaced the low power strip of LED's with brighter single LED's in the hilt and blades from dueling saber companies. Great fun. I break them out for Halloween use.

As has been mentioned order a good pair of protective glasses ASAP. A reflected beam can burn a hole in your retina faster than you can blink. If you are burning a piece of wood the back scattered light will give you eyestrain (think snow blind)-so again you need goggles. I have both a blue 450...

Hi! Here is the spot after I bent the tip to get some semblance of a spot-not so good. I need to buy a Dremel tool to cut back the glue spotted plastic tip. You can see that the beam is scattering from hitting the inside of the tip. It was worse originally. Too late for a refund I think-and the...

I forgot to mention- he suggested cutting off the end of the tip to make a better aperture since the beam was diffracting on the side.
