Interesting, they pretty similar but I noticed the Osram have a bigger offset between diodes (1.5mm) than all the Nichia’s (1mm to 1.25mm) Are the Osram attainable? I would love to play with this slighter bigger distance…

I always use some kind of shaft stoppers as focusing rings on my builds, the pointers looks way better with them and I don’t burn my fingers anymore.

This is just a shaft stop working as a better focusing ring. The set screw is holding it to the usual 12mm focusing ring, with this setup I can also set the maximum focus at infinity and still have the ability to focus it at closer distances.

Got a KLC420FS01WW from LaserTree and built into a polished titanium Convoy T3, driving it with a 800ma boost driver. This measured at 420.9nm with a LittleGarden spectrometer, so still count as 420nm for me :) The color? Purple! Not the strange 405nm violet or the purplebluish from 445nm blue...

Yes, the current plan is to go with Survival Lasers hosts and heatsinks. Unfortunately I don’t have access to a table drill, but I’m also not good at operating one. Let’s see if someone appears, thanks for the advices!
