How powerful are each laser, and what voltage do they run on?

It's weird lighting up a room with it because a normal 20W "black" light would brightly light up white and fluorescent greens and oranges, but this thing is so bright you hardly notice greens and oranges over everything else being illuminated. Not very purple like 405nm, but has the same blue...

Stupid me didn't read the 390nm in the description. It definitely wasn't purple, but not really a natural blue either, which made me not want to risk a closer look. They have a 254nm glass tube version, only 25W

Yea, but the rocket boosters were not reused. Seems like the guy has nothing better to do with his money than shoot his junk up into space: cars and satellites and such. Although his new truck belongs in space, but that might end up as another embarrassment :LOL:

What's the point of all of those satellites? Elon is getting on my nerves with the sum of what he has done. Some of it I like though, like those reusable rockets.

Interesting how the intensity of the most head on beams changed their color (increased their saturation I guess). I almost thought you had 3 other lasers lined up behind the diffractor , NOT shining through it, like 405 and 505 and 445.

I actually found last night that weak green was just an unstable one. I tried using it for longer than a quick flash and saw it flicker bright and dim for 15 seconds until it became a solid medium power. I found that if shut off for a second, then first 1/20th of a second was as bright if not...

I am curious to know why the power seems to vary so much with these pens. I didn't see a pot on the regulator in Pman's first post towards the bottom, so it probably isn't from slight differences in how it was adjusted. Maybe the design of the regulator is so bad that each one has a different...

It is complete with a switch, battery spring, and resistor for limiting current. So I'll just give it 3x 1.5v batteries like what it took, but I'll use batteries bigger than buttons, but not bigger than AAA
