By solid i mean i can see the beam very well, at night without moke or fog. It's not a pulse but a continous output laser. It was not mine but a friend, and i recall it for a reference. As i know it somewhere around 0.5W output, but i didn't ask him the wavelenght so idk for sure, that's why i'm...
i tried 3.3v, 3.8v and 4.2v with the same result. I can't go any lower since that will kill the cell but i think that buck converter ain't gonna work when voltage is lower than 3.2v anw
Now that you mention heat, i notice that the board get pretty hot after 5 seconds. I though it was normal...
Well there's not need for that butt hurt my friend, nobody force you to comment in the first place. In fact i was talking to the other guy, not mentioning you or anything why do you have to all act up like i just drop ants in your bed??? And like i already state i don't feel like bother with...
Are you sure? Because the one i handled, beam was solid, almost burn my toe shining it on my feet though. I could be wrong, it might be more than 500mw without him knowing. Or better yet, it might be actually a blue?
I found on ebay some 520 and 525nm direct diode with decent power (0.5 - 1W)...
cool, i'll have a look at those 520 and 525 see what i can get :D
I'm aware of violet is alot less visible to human eyes, but higher output capability might compensate for that. I used to handle a guys 500mw violet and the beam is quite solid. beside, that's my favorite color :giggle:
At 25$ range i think i'm gonna go with a violet diode. There is some seller put up on the shelf a 500mw emmiter for 30$ or something like that. One of the client commented that he measured true output was 300mw only but that's plenty enough for my use. Honestly i like to get something without a...
I know the reality of these cheap module so i'm not expecting any 10W super power or anything, i just need to have them work for a short time even though that will destroy them i'm ok with that. That's why i need the cheap one. I appreciate your help, just want to clear some thing up so that...
the 1st time is the 303 laser pointer that you suggested. 2nd time was a module like this, different vendor. But without the line spliter. Although it can withstand a little longer (4 seconds) still not enough for my use.
This spliter can be removed from the module. When i got this i just tiwst...
this thing already come with a copper housing with decent heat capability, i can feel it warm up when use, idk about add another heat sink on top of it will help but i'll try. And this thing is non adjustable, there are nothing to be adjusted. No screw on the pcp to twist at all. Talk about the...
i don't live in the USA, and i can't contact the dealer so i don't know about returning it.
secondly i know what polarity goes where, i had schematic of the pcp so i know where to solder. I NEVER touch the diode, if i want to i couldn't since its under the crystal. And yes, i'm pretty sure LUCK...
