Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180
Sorry it took so long to post this, but I actually got the laser about a week ago and I wanted to wait until my goggles came to test it and post a review. I absolutely love it. The build quality is fantastic and it is truly professional. Awesome job...
I have heard (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that magenta is actually the same wavelength as green, but altered somehow. It exists because our brain loves continuity and tries to connect the red and the blue ends of the spectrum by creating a color to complete the "wheel".
Can anybody...
That would be great, but I'm actually moving away to college in Boston from Seattle. I think I'll just have my parents ship it to me when it arrives... Still a major pain, seeing as I ordered over a month and a half ago.
Has anybody heard ANYTHING from WL regarding the Sonar? I'm moving in a week and a half and I really really dont want to have to deal with an address change given how hard it is to contact customer support right now.
Thanks for the info. I wasn't worried, I know I'm going to get my laser, I just wanted to know if they would be shipping soon, as I'm leaving for college in a few weeks (address changes are annoying). I agree that people have been taking things way too personally. After seeing those pics of...
You got through on the phone? I've tried tons of times and only gotten voicemail. Did they say anything about shipping confirmation emails or tracking numbers?
Hey everyone,
I ordered the new $89 S1 Sonar Lunar (forget the Arctic!) last week from WL and I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation. If it ships on schedule, it should arrive some time this week.
Anybody else order one? Let us know/post pics if you get confirmation or if it arrives!
Thanks Babalimje! I hadn't noticed the huge price drop! After reading through the forums, though, I think I'm going to wait until the Arctics have gone out and the prices have been confirmed legit by multiple sources.
Thanks for the info Fonduman - I might try to put that together once I feel confident enough. Another update - Paypal tomfoolery was figured out, so my budget is back up to $200 (but I cant access the money for a little over a week because my card was frozen... mistake made by visa). Anyway...
This post serves two purposes:
1. :bumpit:
2: Due to Paypal shenanigans that I'm trying to resolve, my budget has been reduced to $130. So, I'm revising my bid to one laser for $130 or under, 532nm or 445nm, 150-250 mW (IR filtered for 532 nm). Higher power is better!
Thanks,
Andrew
Hi Everyone,
I'm looking to buy one or a multiple lasers to start off my collection (I'm new to the laser business). I'm looking for a 532 (with an IR filter) or a 445 with an output power of 150-250 mW. My budget is $200, and I want to spend it all on one or more lasers. I'll take care of...
See? I'm learning already! So, question: where do you think would be a good place to start for me? I've already got a few <5mw pointers and I've read a considerable amount about laser safety.
