yea sorry i meant 1N4001, yea theres 5 of them heres the picturres of the driver im going to be applying the test load to, theres the test load and the soldering om the test load, and the driver (sorry for the blurry vision again, its the best i can get)
hi
im on my way to making a driver for my laser
but first i made the the test load, it consists of 5 N41001 diodes and 1 1ohm 1/2 watt resistor
i have read about test loads and wat they are meant to do
but im just want to run this by every1 that can tell me that ive done it correctly and...
im also on the same promblem as beantastic
i made my test load (first one) just some some one to check if the wiring is ok
sorry for the blurry vision on the photo
its 5 N41001 diode and 1 ohm 1/2 watt then the black and red wire
hi ive been having bit of trouble lately on how to find or measure how much mA i should feed the circuit i managed to find the current that travels through the resistors, can some1 show how to determine the mA that goes through a laser ive been using ohms law I=V/R but i still am having...
ahh now i understand completely, so i can use the any potentiometer but 1 that would be suitable for my project, yea i get the difference now, nah i should be fine with this project, this is the only promblem i have found with my driver
Thank Youu!!!
hi im mkaing a driver for a laser, and im a tryin to put a 100 ohm potentiometer for the driver, but i cant find any, will it be ok if i put a 100k pot instead of the 100 ohm pot?
oh and also i want to buy a 100 ohm potentiometer for the driver for a laser, all i can find are 100k pots, will it still do the the same thing as the 100 ohm pot ?
i no that i need safety glasses to use but wat if im just testing to see if it works.if i put it to a discharged AAA battery pack do i stiill need laser safety glasses?
