Okay, thanks for the info. I heard it from someone who was selling A130 diodes.

I heard that diodes from the 130 have better beam profile than ones from the 140... can anyone confirm this?

Damn. That really makes me wonder where to draw the line with these diodes... for instance I'm thinking that simply viewing the beam in thick fog (at night) might be enough to be a problem in the long term.

Why wasn't your order accepted? Also, do you expect to be able to get a decent divergence on this build?

Now hold on here, they just used an IR (aka night vision) camera to track him down. This doesn't have anything to do with the IR emitted by his laser...

Hello. Nope I have not adjusted the diode power. It is overspec because of the rigorous testing LG does -- i.e. it's absolutely guaranteed to perform at its rated output, but in most circumstances it will perform better.

Bad luck :( I'll be interested to see how much Viasho charge to repair it.

I could use something like that. I wonder how many mW of 405nm that is...
