im using two 50watt 0.01 ohm power resistors in parallel ( 0.005ohm ). i think cheap solutions are generally more expensive than expensive solutions...:)
im using a similar circuit with IXTH230N085T (rds4.4 mOhm idmax 230amp pmax 550w). the power supply i build is adjustable from 1.40volts to 4.60volts and the current is adjustable from 0.0amps to 120.0amps. with a copper heatsink and forced air-cooling.
i operated the laser today. i need to build a fan to my workshop cause this thing produces a lot of smoke especially when focused to plastic. i will share videos with you.
this laser cost me 785usd with a little bargain ..:)
i will disassemble the box because i wonder the controller circuit. and will look for any modifications can be made.
i will use this laser to cut stickers and balsa. i ordered a cnc machine to the same store. but they do not have the cnc machine in stock and they will inform me when arrives.
i...
i do not know the microprocessor inside, but i will disassemble the controller box soon. i will test the laser in hard conditions ( a few hours of continuous use ) and then i will disassemble the box.
the module has a nozzle for air and laser co axial work. controller has an air pump inside ( a bit noisy ). and for lens protection the air is blowing from nozzle.
laser is cooled with TEC peltier and monitored and controlled with driver box.
this is the picture of the menu when operating
this is the module i purchased from an electronics store.
the specifications are:
output power: 2000mw ( 2W )
wavelength: 808nm
working mode: TTL and manual use
controller: cpu based
power source: 100 - 240vac
this module has a controller with 128x64 pixel graphic lcd. the output power can...
