I bought a cheap 301 from rayfoss. Came in broken. Faona gave me a refund, so now I'm here with a shitty host and broken internals.
I see this as a gateway into the world of building. I've seen the 301 dissection thread from marco polo and took this thing apart. I haven't gotten the diode out...
Howdy. It's been almost 5 years since I bought my first laser. I'd like to give my hand at making one.
Any good instructional vids? Specifically installing modules.
Ordered a 150mw purple from rayfoss and it came in broken. Faona has asked me to ship it back before they send out a replacement. However, the shipping fee to send it back is almost 50 bucks. Any suggestions on what I should do?
Also, how do overseas companies make any money on their sales if...
Got my 50mw green FLX, and charged the battery for about 2 hrs, the light was red the whole time.
Put the battery in, turned the key to On, opened the shutter and...the led comes on, but the laser doesn't. Whats up?
Yessir. I have seen that vid, but that was with way more powerful lasers. 180 and 250 red I think? The 180 let in 20mW of energy, so then how much would a 50 let in? No way of me really knowing. But it seems that yes, it would be alright. Just want to be sure
what a coincidence. I'm lardtazium posting on your vids. xD. do you happen to have a fancy energy measuring gizmo, so we can see how much is actually blocked out?
And how do their glasses compare to sunglasses?
I'll just say right now, before someone goes off calling me racist or ignorant or whatever, that i'm chinese and I go back every couple of years to visit relatives.
They don't get as good of a deal there as we do. When I go back, we go out to eat and screw around at the tourist attractions and...
Can someone with one of those fancy power measuring gizmos try this out for me?
With a 50mw laser, shine the beam onto the little device that measures the power. Then place in front of the beam a pair of sunglasses, ski goggles, and some green laser glasses. Thanks
I will be getting a pair...
You could always just youtube, laser glasses and get video results like that.
Rayfoss and focalprice seem to be pretty common, and they seem to work. I haven't seem one of those power measuring devices used in the video, it's just they pointed the laser at a wall, slid the glasses in front of...
Offtopic, but I just bought from rayfoss because they had cheap shipping.
I went through the normal purchasing procedure, address, name, email ect, but no credit card number. So, whats up? Do they ship it to me before they bill?
