I already have safety goggles and they protect well, the issue is that sometimes we're using the lasers to have fun and goggles make the laser light invisible, so that quite takes the fun out of playing with the lasers in our collections.
Hello guys,
I wanted to ask, how safe is it to look without safety goggles at the dot reflected outside on a wall from a 1.4W blue laser (445nm) at around 15m (49ft) distance?
Thanks.
I understand what you're saying and I agree with you. Don't get me wrong I'm not defending the lack of goggles or irresponsible laser practice. But a thing is that the main reason why we use lasers is to have fun, and obviously we should do that in a responsible way, but if we're not burning or...
Hello guys,
I wanted to know at what power (mW) in green lasers does looking at the dot on a wall can cause permanent damage?
I know that we can't look directly at the dot at powers around 1W, but my doubt is when that starts to be a hazard, of staring at the dot reflected off a matte wall at...
Hello everyone,
I'm expecting for a Rayfoss 532-50mW-QMT laser to arrive soon. Does any of you know if the right battery polarity for this one is the positive to the tailcap? I just don't want to mess it up right away. lol
Thanks for the help.
The model is this one: 532-50mW-QMT
Hello everyone,
I have noticed that most if not all lasers require you to place the batteries with the negative pole facing the diode and the positive towards the cap.
Is this true to all commercial builds? If we place the negative towards the inside we can't go wrong and fry it?
Thanks
