They do look nice in person, like a mini lightsaber. I got mine recently and it's very nice. I think I like the 525nm more than the 532nm, even with the thicker beam.
$20 is a nice price for a host With a heatsink. I hope some more people jump on these so they will get made. The dual battery setup option is nice too. Some of my lasers that use 2 cells still work on 1 cell at far less power. With a host like that, you can put just one battery for low power...
I like to use a panasonic g5 for laser shots. Less DR than my D3100, but seems to show the colors more accurately, at least to the way I see them. Its the camera i usually have with me anyway due to its more light and compact size. G6 has been announces and some of the older g series can be...
I just got my scientec meter today. This thing is easy to use, and sensitive too. I measured cheapie 2mw reds all the way up to a 1.8w blue laser. It responds fast enough that I now know my batteries are just not up to the task of keeping the high powered lasers going at full output. Thanks...
Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP
I know the pain of waiting for the safety glasses. I got my laser already, but I am unable to play with it till my glasses get here. I did shine it straight up in the sky at night though. The 445nm beam is a very nice blue.
Wow, that looks a lot like the host I want to get. It does look very nice powder coated. I wonder if the o-rings on the handle are available in different colors. Imagine a set of those, all black , with red rings for the red, purple rings for the blu ray, and a similar style of green with green...
Re: 10X Complete Modules
I just got home to find my modules waiting for me. They have arrived quickly and in good condition. I cant wait to see them powered up.
I just meant the module type with threads on the very end of it. They are the ones that look just the like dx modules, but with a spring already on the back of the driver.

I was just curious, has anyone tried the new style module with a 3.7v rechargeable? The old style worked with them and got a bit more power with them but ive not seen anything about someone trying it with the new style module. I had one of my two 200mW modules die in 10 seconds on a cr123a...
I just got two of the Olike 200mW modules, the new threaded style. One works great and outputs 203mw then drops down to the 190s. The other one died in 10 seconds. Im not sure what the problem is, I can see on my webcam that there is IR coming out, but no green. The one that works though, shoots...
