IR diode? how much current should i run it at?
and BTW, i bought the microscope from this site. This is the one i got
Handheld Digital Microscope (item #44302) / Digital Microscopes / Microscopes / Products / Celestron.com
I just harvested around 4 diodes from 1 drive and i found a weird flat one. I didn't want to hook it up to a power supply because i might burn it out but here are some puctures
These pictures are taken from my digital microscope so they seem large but it is 3mmX9mmX8mm
That wont work. I have tried that but the current is WAY to small. A 5 mw module takes 300 mA to operate. the led only operates at like 10-20mA and it wont fit.
well i mean, with my home made, when i put them on, i cannot see the 50 mW at all and my camera is very sensitive and could not pick up any green all i see is a little white
dot. dimmer than looking at a star.
there are more purposes than hurting people's eyes. (i was sort of kidding when i said that...) Im thinking of making a laser light show machine thing that kipkay teaches you and i want it to be pulsed. And what is the difference between pulsed and CW?
I used my function generator and i did...
