    What are G2, G3... Lenses

Im using an 1.6W Osram PLTB450B for blue, a recapped 1W Nichia NUGM03T from LaserTree, and a 1.2W Ushio HL63283HD. Does anyone think those diodes will balance in power? I could probably dial back with the green a little. Also i should probably use several single mode reds to keep up with the...

    What are G2, G3... Lenses

Which of these is the best to use in an RGB projector set up. Im in the process of acquiring parts and planning to take on the challenge of building my first laser show projector. I was thinking G-8 or G7 but now these posts have me thinkin G-3. Ive seen a couple advertised G9's on Ebay but i...

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

I have mine NUBM0C decanned. Yes the option is available for the NUBM07 and NUBM0C to be recapped but from my personal experience they die just as quickly recapped as they would if u removed it yourself. I guess it does protect it from dust but as far as what ever inert gases they say are inside...

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

I get paid tonight and will order a G-2 either from Zach BarnetteUnlimited or DTR. all i have is a 2-element and a G7 lens on hand as we speak. So it has to be G-2?

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

I currently found a good use for the bad divergence. I have a 2005 master replica luke skywalker edition lightsaber that has currently hit a Price point over $500 that i had damaged the light saber blade to where its value wont keep rising as the years pass so i toook it apart a few days ago and...

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

I dont currently have a nubm44 to compare it along side against but i can honestly i do not remember the divergence being quite as much as i saw on this Nubm0C. It might be that when i when i first saw the beam it was thru the gball lense instead of something more focused or the fact that its...

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

I have a nubm07 recapped and the nubm0C decanned and both with 3 element collimating lense and I would say that the divergence is probably twice as much atleast if not more on one of the axis. It will be a little hard for me to get a photo of both of the beam spots side by side with hosts and...

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

I took the risk and de-canned my Nubm0C because i could not stand the divergence witb Gball Lens in a laser pointer. I have mine now using a 3 element lens and it focus's nicely and i can burn things literally 12 or 13 feet away and with my 3x beam expander i can burn things from 20 to 25 feet...

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

Yes. The divergence is the worst ive ever seen in Blue

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

I have one of these that is due to arrive from China in just a few days. I just received me 3rd recapped NUBM07E from a group called LaserTree in China thru Ebay to compare the NUBM0C to. I also cant wait to get my 1.6W 525nm NUGM04 this coming week too. Ill take a side by side comparison photo...

So i guess lets start with what is in stock.. im going to be pushing that NUBM4F close to 6 amps and i guess this is making this new diode the new front runner on being the most powerful single visible light continuous wave laser diode in the world. So it needs a worthy host with exceptional...
