Why would you want to? The laser isn't going to be subject to subzero temperatures, and ethylene glycol has a much lower thermal conductivity than water anyways (water is ~3x better). Thermal Conductivity Common Liquids

Well, I'm looking for something more custom than a pen laser. I've decided that since I like ApexProxy's 445nm so much that I want a bit of power in a 405nm. Not sure what a $100 or less budget could get me though.

I love how the WL hosts look, but there are members who can build a MUCH better quality laser at a reasonable price point.

How does 405nm stack up vs 635nm as far as distance burning is concerned? I'm not sure which one had better beam specs.
