Yeah I also bought the 8mm 5mW module before the 20mW came out. It came out like 1 or 2 days after my package was shipped. I'd choose the 20mW version if it was out a bit earlier, but it's fine. 8mm is very tiny so I can put it in a very small laser pointer
Sounds good! I asked them about their 589nm lasers today so I'm expecting answer on those tomorrow. I can already guarantee if they even have them, that they'll be much higher priced. I assume they've finished testing those and mastered the process.
Thanks for sharing more info! My 561nm module actually comes with a driver attached. Fom the test sheet they sent me the 561 is still unfortunately very sensitive to temperature so yeah, that explains the cheap prices.
The company making them is called Lasence. They are on Alibaba, current price for like 20mW of 561nm is $42 + shipping with FedEx $35 to Europe. They are in the process of developing 555nm and 575nm but those won't be done until a couple of months. Right now they're offering 561, 532 and 545 for...
huh weird, shipping was free to the US yesterday, now all shipping is $45. They also just started selling recanned NUBM07s / N465? Recanned NUBM07s with FAC are coming next week
I also bought that ML562G18 diode that logsquared sent a link to and can confirm that it is a tri beam diode. I asked the seller and he said that the G18 was just their "internal model number" and that the diode was infact a G84 diode. Seller was really helpful and easy to communicate with too...
I don't know if you guys need this info, but the G8 does not remove box / ghost artifact from NUGM03 either. I can edit in some photos here if you guys want to
That's a really nice build, the host you used is pretty cool! I have parts for a very similar build using the NUGM03 on its way, and its going to run on 2A . I couldn't resist buying a 1W green laser diode when the price got that low haha.
Based on your pics it is seems slightly brighter than...
Hello, I have been on this website for a couple of months now but I have only made one post before, and I completely forgot about making a post like this hehe. I have started browsing LPF a lot more because I am getting more and more into this hobby, and I am most recently just reading through...
Hello, this is my first post here on LPF, and I am wondering if the tapered and extended copper heatsink is enough heatsinking for the 16x 12mm module without driver from DTR in the survival laser S4 host. I am also curious to how many mA you would recommend me the driver should output.:unsure...
