Hey LPF!
Anyone recognize this LPM? I found it in an e-waste area and it seems to be old... It's too bad I can't find the detector to plug in to test and see if it's working. I was just curious if anyone knew what kind it was/if it would be possible to construct my own detector for it :P I did...
I have an entire 8x8x8 cube built, but am still working on the circuitry to control it... I'm sure I'll post it if I ever finish (right now I'm caught up with other things though). I definitely advise using two sets of pliers and pulling on the ends of the strands of wire to get perfectly...
AAlasers and sherap, PM's on the way.
It also sounds more than one person is having trouble with setting up the drivers (and complications that may arrise as such), so I'm working on creating a user manual. I will post it as soon as it is finished.

So like you said, this is subjective, but here's my take:
You are correct that using the 445 gives less of a blue range, and will have a worse beam quality. However, the blue produced from mixing violet with the other colors will definitely not be as impressive as actually having a blue diode...
I'm camping over the weekend (Aug 12 - Aug 14). I'll respond to orders/PMs/emails when I get back. If anyone orders tonight, I'll ship tomorrow, otherwise it will be on Monday or Tuesday.
Peace,

I'm doing some research about analog vs TTL drivers and modulation and such and am a little confused on some points. Clarification would be most excellent :)
I've always imagined analog as perfectly smooth; why do many analog lasers/drivers list a speed in KHz or pps? Is analog not perfectly...
I'm looking for something more 100mW+. Now huge by some people's standards, but it's more than anything I have now :P Ideally it would be a module like one from o-like...
But I'm open to other offers too.

I'm looking for some bigger green lasers to put in my RGB setup :)
I'm offering my new RGB driver(s) as payment.
Anyone interested? Feel free to post/PM offers.
