I have regular lasers and just a couple uses (there are more) is as an astronomer it can be used to point out stars, planets, ect.
Also I have used them to try to get possible deer to move out of the way before I get there when driving down roads at night near wooded areas.
(always use caution...
I don't know exactly how far the beam will go, but the low cost blue/violet laser I have does real good at charging up glow in the dark stuff from a distance !
I'm glad you shared your experience as I was not personally familar with Lazerer and simply saw that negative link from among the search results.
Good point, even the best of companies are likely to get a complaint now and then, then the issue becomes how good is their customer service in...
no problem !
I'm not familiar with "Lazerer", but I put that word in the search box for this site and it had a lot of results, including one that had a warning against buying from them.
Put Lazerer in the search for this site and check it out and see what they said in that thread.
Well, there are many reviews of different models on the "reviews" thread, go to the main page at http://laserpointerforums.com/ and scroll down to the reviews thread. There are other threads that deal with specific types, (red, green, blue) as well as a thread on companies, and other stuff...
Well, since my lasers cost about $5 to $10, (with the exception of one that cost $24.99) it is not a big deal if I don't use them as much as when I first got them. But I usually still shine them a few times a week, it is especially neat if it is foggy at night or raining heavy at night, I am...
I'm not sure how long since I've needed AAAA batteries for anything but I just did a Google search for "AAAA battery" and some of the results included stores such as Staples, Radio Shack, Ace Hardware, Best Buy, not sure if their local stores in your area have them, but you can call them and...
Well, unless the quality of their customer service has really went down from back when they resolved my complaint, there is a chance it could be a simple case of them not getting your email.
I would not give up after sending just one email, I would foward the last one back to them again and add...
It doesn't hurt to try because LEDShoppe did send me a replacement for a defective laser without having to pay to send back the defective one.
If they are as slow as they were in the past answering emails then don't be surprised if it takes as much as 4 days to get a reply back from them...
Email LED Shoppe and let them know your problem, they had usually been slow in replying so it might take a few days to hear back from them.
I can't guarantee they will send a replacement without sending the defective one back because that was the stated policy on their web site unless it has...
It couldn't hurt to email them first and ask before you order (and remind them when you order).
They sometimes took a few days to reply to my emails so if they don't reply the same day it is not unusual.
I think their official policy on their web site stated that they will replace defective...
I received my UVTools 4W SW/LW lamp in the mail Monday Nov 22nd.
I've only had a chance to try it out a little bit so far, so this is a basic review.
First let me say this is a beginner's entry level lamp and not a model professional geologists might use, from my research it seems that...
I remember someone else mentioning that elsewhere, maybe it somehow increases his chances of coming up in a search and helps him get more customers ?
The important thing is that he is known for selling good lasers at a low price and good customer service in replying to emails...
Interesting, I wonder if they just started getting some from a new source and that might be a possible reason for the replacement you just got being slightly shorter.
I just checked to be sure and the replacement I got has the same outward appearance of the original and also seems to be exactly...
