Hi, I am looking to run standard DPSS green modules and red diodes that are normally 3 volt on 6 to 9 volts. Is there a driver that can do this? It needs to be the same size as a pointer driver or smaller.

Were you able to unscrew the heatsink to get at the diode? If so could you post a picture. It looks like the anodized part should unscrew from the other part but I have been unable to get them apart.

I agree that casting is the way to go that is how Wicked does it in the first place the Arctic host is cast.

Yes, I do have mine. The case is nice the rest is crap!!! It only puts out 570mw, the end was full of thermal greese that took an hour to clean out all it was doing was insulating the diode and keeping in the heat, I understand they are no longer doing that. I need to get into it so I can adjust...

I did a search but could not find any pictures that you posted. I would really like to see them before I attempt to take mine apart.
